Brownie Visit

Last week, Masters Self Defense Centers opened its doors to the second grade Brownie Troup 78285 to introduce the girls to self defense.

Eric shows Shannon the correct way to make a fist.

They learned how to make a proper fist.

Followed by some basic punches and kicks. They learned training and fighting stances, and practiced a getting out of a wrist grab.

The most fun was at the end when they all got a chance to take down the instructor.

Turn Off The TV Week

To Gi or not to Gi……

That was one of many questions we had to answer before opening. We have decided it is up to you. If you want to suit up, we will happily order you a brand new karate gi. If you prefer to keep things casual, feel free to wear your own work out gear as long as it is free of buttons and zippers.

Open for Business

We are now officially open for business. We have several students enrolled but have space for many more.  Check the schedule, drop in, and try out a free class. We know families are very busy so the schedule has lots of private slots, so you can pick a time that works best for you.
